Class Descriptions

We offer a wide selection of classes to suit all ages and abilities.

Hi/Lo Aerobics
A low, high or mixed impact class of different intensities, maximising fat burning and improving cardiovascular fitness.

Legs, Tums & Bums
A low impact muscular strength and endurance workout, designed to work specific areas. These classes may use equipment such as hand weights and resistance bands to add to the intensity of the class.

Body Pump
A pre-choreographed weight-training workout using inter-changeable barbells and dumb-bells. Simple choreography suitable for all.

Body Balance
Body Balance is a dynamic yoga-based stretch programme, it combines the fundamental principles and practices of Yoga and Pilates. Such as controlled breathing, concentration, flexibility and strength training to create a holistic workout that brings the body, mind and soul into a state of balance and harmony.

Body Combat
Body Combat combines powerhouse moves and stances developed from a range of selfdefence disciplines. It is an empowering, athletic workout that will have you ‘fighting fit’ in record time.

Technique Classes (Body Pump & Body Combat)
Will help you to improve your techniques and therefore also enjoy and benefit you’re your workout more.

Spinnin
Is a group based cycle workout which is a great way to burn calories and reduce body fat. It effectively tones the thighs and butt, whilst the arms, abs and lower back are also trained via the variety of riding positions adopted.

Beginners Spinning
Is a 30 min introduction to spinnin, ideal step before joining the main class. This class will teach you all the moves and setups etc whilst improving your cardiovascular fitness.

Circuits                                                                                                                               A group-led station-based workout designed to increase muscular strength, endurance and aerobic fitness.

Aqua Fit
A motivational cardiovascular workout in the pool. Using the water as resistance, you can tone and strengthen the muscles whilst burning calories and having fun!

24 hours cancellation notice is required for all Workout Classes.

Customers giving less than 24 hours notice or those who fail to attend pre-booked activities will be charged the full casual fee for the activity in question, unless we are able to re-sell the place.

Cancellations can be taken by telephone or e-mail. 

Pilates (these classes are regularly run as courses but not on the Workout Timetable)

Pilates (pronounced pil-ah-tayes) is a mat based multi muscle exercise technique which helps correct postural alignment and strengthen core stomach and back muscles.

Performed using controlled breathing to promote well-being, flexibility, stress relief and relaxation.
